Cancer Causation From PCE Used in Dry Cleaning

In a toxic tort case involving a former dry cleaning worker with kidney cancer; Gradient prepared testimony on the likelihood that kidney cancer is caused by exposure to perchloroethylene. We considered epidemiological studies and animal studies; as well as studies on metabolic differences between animals and humans to assess the weight-of-evidence that perchloroethylene could be a human carcinogen.
