Ecological Risk Assessment for Site Remediation
To comply with RCRA Corrective Action Requirements; Gradient performed an ecological risk assessment for terrestrial and aquatic receptors potentially exposed to contaminants in soil; surface water; and sediment. We reviewed historical data; developed a conceptual site model; and designed a comprehensive sampling program to fill data gaps. Based on the site-specific data; we evaluated contaminant bioavailability and evaluated ecological risk-based cleanup levels for the proposed remediation.
