Gradient provided expert testimony on the sources of chlorinated solvents; Freon; Benzene; Toluene; Ethylbenzene; and Xylenes (BTEX) in a plume of contaminated groundwater adjacent to our client's former refinery site. We evaluated groundwater concentrations; travel times; directed the sampling and analysis of groundwater and NAPL for benzene carbon isotope analysis; and applied chemical fingerprinting techniques.
