Environmental Toxicologist
Challenging position for driven, high energy individual to assist colleagues and clients by applying knowledge of environmental toxicology and chemistry to address environmental risks at legacy waste sites and with consumer products. Knowledge of regulatory Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA) frameworks, particularly sediment assessments for persistent organics and metals, and strong database skills required; and project management skills desired. Expertise in statistics, environmental fate modeling, field sampling, and population ecology or field biology a plus. Must possess solid technical and communication skills and be capable of designing, writing, and coordinating reports on all size projects. Position requires MS/PhD in environmental sciences or engineering.
Environmental Engineer/Scientist
An engineer/scientist with 1+ years consulting experience to perform fate and transport modeling, data analysis, prepare technical reports, and manage project tasks. A strong background in many of the following practice areas is required: hydrogeology, databases and statistical analysis, GIS, geosciences/environmental geochemistry, fate and transport of environmental contaminants, numerical modeling, remedial cost estimation, and hazardous waste treatment technologies. Working knowledge of risk assessment a plus. Candidates must have excellent writing and quantitative skills, and the ability to work independently in a challenging and fast-paced work environment.
Human Health Toxicologist/Risk Assessor
Seeking motivated, independent thinkers with broad expertise in toxicology and human health risk assessment. Join a highly competent peer group and enjoy technically challenging work for projects that involve litigation support, regulatory comment, product safety assessments, and site-specific human health risk assessment. Position requires M.S./Ph.D. in toxicology or related field. Strong organizational and communication skills required, with the ability to design, write, and coordinate deliverables for diverse projects of all sizes. A minimum of two years' consulting experience and knowledge of environmental regulations and/or statistics preferred.
